CAts CArs and CAthedrals

Since 2014 each edition of Cosmos is accompanied by a participative project - enabling hundreds of participants to construct together a vision of our contemporary world of images via several proposed subjects, a vision made up of images of all registers and genres.
During three years our subjects were animals from the Camargue associated with classical topoi of photography, Poles & Bulls (2014), Shadows & Flamingos (2015) and in 2016 Digital & Horses.

In 2017 we’d like to leave this camarguais’ trilogy behind us and propose a threefold subject, CArs, CAts and CAthedrals, a tritpych that risks not working at all, subjects that have possibly nothing to do with one another, and we hope all the more that historians, photographers, publishers, curators, artists and writers and just about everyone who feels interested may participate and share images from their research or sources. Let’s see if some crate digging doesn’t bring up some hidden alignments in the history of photography!
